Breakout Learning has been announced as a winner in the 2024 EdTech Products Awards, securing top honors in the Virtual Learning Technology category for startup companies.

This award, part of the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2024, recognizes the most innovative and effective solutions in educational technology. The formal award presentation will take place next Wednesday evening, January 24, at 4:30 pm at Booth 4132 in the FETC Expo Hall.

Steven Walters, Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer of Breakout Learning, will accept the award and later conduct a demo session of Breakout Learning’s platform on Thursday, January 25, at 1:30 pm in the Pitchfest Theater (Booth 4111 in the Expo Hall).

"Winning the Top EdTech Products of the Year Award is a milestone for us," said Walters. "Our platform's impact on higher education business schools nationwide is just the beginning. We're also setting our sights on high schools, where our business curriculum is relevant and our discussion-based format can be applied to many other academic subjects."

Breakout Learning, launched just six months ago, has already made significant inroads among top-ranked business schools. The company's unique approach uses AI to moderate and grade small group discussions, enhancing the learning experience for thousands of students. Over 90% of these students have expressed a preference for Breakout Learning's case study format over traditional methods.

Organized by District Administration and FETC, this year's Top EdTech Products Awards saw an unprecedented number of submissions, with approximately 210 contenders across various categories—all subjected to a rigorous evaluation process by industry experts and District Administration editors. Breakout Learning's win in such a contested landscape marks a significant achievement for the company and cements its position as an edtech leader using AI to enhance the classroom experience.
