Clinical Assistant Professor of Management, Ingrid Greene of Loyola Marymount University has added Breakout’s award-winning discussion platform to her business courses. Greene found that students came to class more prepared and confident after using Breakout’s platform to participate in small-group discussions with their peers. Greene also created a Dialog or custom Breakout experience based around her existing course material. This fostered greater student engagement, and offered Green AI insights into each student discussion. Greene says “Sometimes it's hard to get students to speak in the classroom. They're shy, they're afraid, they're not sure. They're still trying to get used to their voice. Whatever it is, Breakout has really helped us to engage discussion in the classroom.”
